What has been most fulfilling as an artist is to have written songs that are timeless classics and that so many people have related to in such meaningful, joyful and heartfelt ways for over 50 years. I've always been so inspired by the loyalty and support of all my fans. And now what I've decided would be a lot of fun, is to have my fans help me decide which bonuses you'd like to go with my latest album. I have been working on several ideas for bonus materials that I am going to offer with my album. I have now decided to adjust those original launch plans for the release and do a pre-announcement sooner than when I had originally planned. And there's a few other surprises that I am also going to be announcing later this year so stay tuned.īecause of changing circumstances out of my control, my original launch plans to release my new album later on in the 2020 tour have to change. Also there's more that was done at Abbey Road studios with my classic songs. I'm so excited to be offering my long awaited upcoming new album release of Classics Live 2, I have remastered these beloved classics at Abbey Road Studios last year, in preparation for selling this year on my 2020 tour that had to be moved to 2021. But as we watch what is happening with COVID 19 continuing to surge around the world, it has become increasingly clear that it is going to be a while before the world is safe enough again to allow large musical gatherings. Like all of you, we had hoped that the pandemic might have been brought under control by now. And of course, I miss my wonderful band and crew. I hope you are taking care of yourself and that the new directions in life we've all been forced to make are giving birth to some new fulfilling experiences.
